How to install minecraft on a chromebook 2023 (Badlion)

Terminal commands

  1. Update the list of available packages and their versions:

    sudo apt update
  2. Install the libnss3 package, which is a set of libraries supporting the Network Security Services (NSS) API:

    sudo apt install libnss3
  3. Install the libsecret-1-dev and openjdk-17-jdk packages:

    bash
    sudo apt install libsecret-1-dev openjdk-17-jdk
  4. Change the file permissions of the BadlionClient executable to allow it to be executed:

    chmod 755 BadlionClient
  5. Run the BadlionClient executable and pass the --disable-framerate-limit option:

    ./BadlionClient --disable-framerate-limit
  6. Install the menulibre package, which is a menu editor for Linux:

    sudo apt install menulibre
  7. Launch the menulibre application:

    menulibre
  8. Check Debian version:
